# DataForSEO MCP for Claude

Ask Claude about your DataForSEO data in plain words. Add one server, sign in with Google, and it reads your own numbers on each request.

    Open Customize, then Connectors. Choose Add, then Add custom connector.

    Name it seoskill, enter the server URL and choose Continue:

    If Claude asks how to register the OAuth client, choose Register automatically. Then choose Add and sign in with Google.

    In a chat, turn it on from the + menu under Connectors.

    Save your DataForSEO login and password under Keys on your account page at seoskill.dev/account. It works in every client you connect.

Claude opens the Google sign-in when you connect. The connector belongs to your Claude account, so it also shows up in the desktop and mobile apps.

## Prompts to try in Claude

Ask in plain words and your agent picks the tool. DataForSEO numbers are estimates from its own index. They are kept apart from your Search Console data and never mixed into it.

-   ### What is the search volume for these 40 keywords?

    Keyword metrics: volume, keyword difficulty and cost per click for up to 100 keywords at once.

-   ### What does example.org rank for in the UK?

    Ranked keywords for that domain, in the country you name.

-   ### Who ranks for "seo audit tool" right now?

    The SERP for up to five keywords, with the pages in each result.
