# Ahrefs MCP for Cursor

Ask Cursor about your Ahrefs data in plain words. Add one server, sign in with Google, and it reads your own numbers on each request.

    Add the server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project, or .cursor/mcp.json for one:

    Open the MCP section of Cursor's settings and sign in when seoskill asks for it.

    Save your Ahrefs API key under Keys on your account page at seoskill.dev/account. It works in every client you connect.

    Or send the key as a header, so nothing is saved on your account:

Cursor opens the Google sign-in in your browser and keeps the token.
