# seo page

Everything for one URL. What the live page shows, whether Google has it indexed, and the queries it gets.

Use it when one page matters: a page that dropped, a page you just changed, or a page from a report section you want to look at closely.

## Check a page

Ask your agent:

```text
Check https://example.com/pricing with SEO Skill
```

The hosted MCP runs `seo_page`. In a terminal, run:

```sh
seo page --url https://example.com/pricing
```

Add `--start-date` and `--end-date` for other dates, `--detail rows` for more query rows, or `--json` for structured output.

## What comes back

- **Live page facts.** The HTTP status, any redirect, the title, meta description, H1, canonical and robots tags as the page serves them now.
- **Google index status.** What Search Console URL Inspection reports for the URL.
- **Queries.** The page’s Search Console queries for the last 28 days against the previous period.

The page has to belong to a Search Console property you can read. URL Inspection reports Google’s last known state, which can lag behind a change you just made.

To check many pages that lost clicks at once, use [`seo index`](https://seoskill.dev/docs/indexing).
