# seo index

Pages that lost most of their clicks, checked live and with Google URL Inspection.

Use it when traffic dropped and you want to know if pages broke or left Google’s index.

## Find lost pages

Ask your agent:

```text
Which pages on example.com lost their clicks?
```

The hosted MCP runs `seo_index`. In a terminal, run:

```sh
seo index --site example.com
```

Leave out `--site` to use your saved default project, or add `--start-date` and `--end-date` to change the window.

## What comes back

The command looks for pages that had at least 3 clicks in the previous 28 days and kept 20% or less of them in the last 28 days. Then it checks them:

- The top 20 pages are fetched live, so you see pages that now return an error, redirect, or block indexing.
- The top 10 pages are checked with Search Console URL Inspection, so you see pages Google no longer has in its index.

A page that lost clicks but looks fine on both checks may have lost rankings rather than broken. Use [`seo page`](https://seoskill.dev/docs/page) to look at its queries.
